Judging by the looks of it, the 2018 model gets an all new design dropping the lifeless looks everybody knows. The latest trailer removes the common perception that the Hyundai Accent is the dreariest cars on sale today.

It appears that the 2018 Hyundai Accent incorporates some inspiration from its predecessor, the Elantra GT Model. The 2018 Hyundai Accent will now exhibit a new larger front grille, and daytime running LED headlights and taillights. As dubbed by its creators, the 2018 Hyundai Accent will be an "All-New" model, therefore, it is more likely be larger than the ongoing models.

The 2018 Hyundai Accent has a 1.6-liter engine similar to the current models. It will exhibit 137 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque. A standard six-speed manual gearbox and optional six-speed automatic transmission will be available.

In terms of what the US Model will look like or performance-wise, there is no disclosure statement from Hyundai yet. But, most likely there is not much of a difference to expect once the 2018 Hyundai Accent is revealed. According to Car Buzz, the current accent sedan prices ranges from $14,745 to $17, 495, therefore, prices for the new model will not drastically differ.

The 2018 Hyundai Accent is scheduled for its debut at the 2017 Canadian International Auto Show on February 16th. All details regarding the new model will then be revealed. For now, the "All-New" redesigned Hyundai Accent models is clearly making a statement, thus, breaking the common perception. Who knows, it might be the most sought out car for 2017.
