One of the most difficult things to deal with life on the road is the boredom. Especially when traveling with kids and teenagers. Thankfully, the 2016 Dodge Durango Citadel has all the right gear to keep its passengers from getting bored.

This particular 2016 Dodge Durango Citadel features two 9-inch screens for people seated in the middle row. A perfect spot to place a gaming console. This allows the driver and passengers in front to concentrate on the road while the passengers on the back enjoy an easy ride.

These screens have an HDMI port located on the right side of the front seats which easily lets it accept gaming consoles. This allows the passengers to play multiplayer games on the back of the car just like they would do at home.

Not surprisingly, the surround sound system makes it seem like the players are playing the game with a home theater system. Additionally, the 9-inch screens can also be synced together so they can display from one source.

This is not the first time a full-size SUV has been equipped with a cool 9-inch rear display system. It was reported that a Chrysler Pacifica and a Dodge minivan had this feature not so long ago.

However, it is clear that the Citadel provides better sounds with its speakers compared to the other two vehicles. For those who are not a big fan of playing games, the Dodge Durango Citadel allows the passengers to play Blu-Ray movie from the front entertainment center.

It is also important to note that the rear screens are only compatible with HD 1080p video. The Durango is equipped with a power outlet for the Xbox One S. According to its user, the trip went on without any issues with shorting out the system.

In fact, the only issue the test driver has had with the whole system has the dangling cables. Aside from that, this Dodge Durango Citadel with a 9-inch rear display is a dream come true for most gamers who spend most their time on the road.
