Word broke out that an IPA file has surfaced online, which is said to be the final build of Samsung's Gear Manager app for iOS. Samsung smartwatch owners of both Gear S2 and Gear S3 can now download and install the Gear Manager app on their iPhones and connect it to their smartwatches.

Although it's wiser to wait for Samsung to roll out the file's official version, the leaked IPA can be downloaded and installed by users who like to tinker around. There's no guaranteeing its authenticity or its safeness, but lots of XDA members have already installed it on their devices, according to the Tizen Experts.

For the iOs Gear Manager app to be installed, one must connect his iPhone to the computer and download the file. The user will then need to open the downloaded file on iTunes, sync the phone, select Gear S3, and install it. The next steps will require the user to go to Settings, click General and Device Management, and choose the option that will trust the Samsung certificate.

The user must also perform a Samsung Gear S3 or S2 factory reset, switch on the Bluetooth, and pair the device with iOs' Gear Manager app. There are only a few watch faces and apps that can be installed on the Gear S3 and S2, but Samsung might unveil more once the Gear Manager file is officially released, Mac Rumors reported.

The leak was first reported by Korean Tizen development community Tizen Café and was later confirmed in a forum by XDA Developers. Users should know that bugs could occur since the IPA file is still in its beta version. It should also be noted that iPhones need to be updated to iOS 8.4 and up.

Meanwhile, no announcement has been made as to when the official Gear Manager iOS app will be released.
