The OnePlus 5 is just as impressive as the other smartphones released this year. It is an excellent addition to this year's very tight mobile device race to the top. However, its successor, the OnePlus 6 slowly gains popularity.

Yes, shortly after OnePlus 5's unveiling and release, the OnePlus 6 gets a solid following. This reaction is the same as people's comparison to Samsung Galaxy S9 after S8's official release. Various consumers clamor for the next big thing as they know it is better than the predecessor.

What do people expect to see in OnePlus 6?

Buyers expect to still see the OnePlus 6 with dual cameras. However, these dual cameras come more compelling and cutting-edge. It may boast of incredible photo and video quality which may be one of the best upon release. The OnePlus 6, after all, is made in China, so everything is possible.

The OnePlus 6 should have a QHD screen. While the rest of its competitors go more advanced in this aspect, the OnePlus 5 is a little backward. The Chinese tech company is sure to take this seriously so expect better screen/display for the 6th installment.

Smartphones get IP68 for waterproofing so the next OnePlus may have this feature. People get more and more active, so protection from water comes with utmost importance.

How different is the OnePlus 6 from OnePlus 5?

Primarily, the camera should set the two apart. As earlier reported, the dual cameras should come technologically advanced for next year. The OnePlus 5 is highly desirable. Unfortunately, its camera capacity is not as good as its competitors.

OnePlus has a year to improve the camera capabilities. One year may be enough to surprise its buyers that a OnePlus smartphone can produce crisp photos similar to Samsung's devices.

All other features are sure to be different. The successor is logically better than the predecessor. OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 5 are not an exception to the rule.
