Xiaomi Mi 6 is definitely making the rounds online as it nears its official debut a few days from now, on the 19th of April. Leaks from reliable sources have emerged suggesting that it is even more powerful and capable compared to the Samsung S8. Will this Chinese-made handset be able to successfully trump Korea's Samsung S8 as the most powerful and advanced handset upon its official release?

The Xiaomi Mi 6 is reported to come with the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset and Adreno 540 GPU with 6GB of RAM. It will also run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. All of the mentioned information was initially leaked before, so what makes this upcoming handset powerful? Well, it could be based on the latest score it returned for having 2006 in single-core result and 6438 in multi-core which is significantly higher than Samsung S8's 1916 and 6011.

These scores suggest that it is a powerful and capable handset, however, it will still depend on the final product. It is only two days away from the official launch and industry experts will have their first-hand opportunity to test it. Only then will confirmatory reports be available to prove or contradict initial leaks stating that it is more powerful than the S8 and all other recently launched devices.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 will also feature 5.1-inch full HD display and will have either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage space. It is also expected to have an impressive 12-megaixel rear-facing camera and 8-megapixel front facing camera for crisp and enhanced photo and video capturing. It will be capable of wireless charging for having Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4.0 technology.

All eyes and ears will definitely be in Beijing on April 19, 2017. It is known fact that it took 203 days since Xiaomi's last offering which is the Mi 5s. Xiaomi is dedicated to exceeding everyone's expectations by providing a state-of-the-art handset annually if it can. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is definitely going to deliver. If it is more powerful than Samsung S8, well, that remains to be seen.
