Following the October 2016, 25th-anniversary release of the new lines of Macbook, many are now waiting for the next addition of Apple to the Mac laptops. Unlike the Macbook Pro, Macbook Air is said to see its glory days ending. This assumption is based on the October 2016 phasing out of the 11-inch Macbook Air along with the Macbook Pro with SuperDrive.
At the same time, the Macbook Air line has seen no massive update in since 2015 and the thinness that it boasts near that of the new line of Macbook Pro closely that there has been no significant difference. Couple this with the emergence of the iPad Pro with a 12.9 screen that also nears the specs of the Air.
