"Rick And Morty" season 3 is progressing. The writer and creators have posted on their social media accounts some updates confirming the new season is progressing. The series has also posted a teaser video which has gained almost 1 million views in just one day. Fans are indeed excited for the new season!

Mike McMahan, writer of the series, has reportedly taken to his official Twitter account a photo confirming the third season. The photo depicts the title page of the script which is marked episode 301. However, the writer tried to conceal the title of the episode by scrubbing it out.

Mike McMahan gave out more updates through the caption he has put on the photo. The writer mentioned in the caption that they are recording episode 301 that day.

Unfortunately, the tweet is no longer available on the writer's Twitter account. ComicBook has just noted the tweet.

Furthermore, show creator Justin Roiland has been actively posting on his official Twitter account regarding the third season. His most recent tweet confirms the official announcement of "Rick and Morty" season 3.

In another tweet, Justin Roiland also confirmed his third submission. His tweet says "yes - I'm working on S3 while here. Hard at work."

Meanwhile, it seems that the series is trying to tease its fans to pull up the excitement level further. Adult Swim Australia has just posted on its official YouTube account a short clip titled "Rick and Morty - EXCLUSIVE! SEASON 3 Opening Scene."

The short clip is a funny clip where various scenes were collated to form part the lyrics of Rick Astley's song "Never Gonna Give You Up." Each lyric was represented by a scene where a character from the series has spoken the same word and the video is a compilation of various scenes forming the lyrics of the song.

The teaser video was marked Season 3 but the scenes presented on the clip did not include any new scene. All the scenes utilized in the clip came from the previous seasons of "Rick and Morty."

Anyway, although there were no new scenes shown in the clip, the posted video seems to have accomplished its goal to tease the fans. The number of views is already more than 900,000 which suggests that many are really looking forward to the return of "Rick and Morty" for season 3.
