2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Shows Off Its Limited Edition Trim

Photos of the upcoming Mitsubishi 2017 Outlander Sport have been released prior to its debut at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. The new Outlander Sport has a new Limited Edition trim.

The Outlander Sport has been refreshed multiple times since it was launched in 2010. It remains to be a strong foundation for the brand. There is not much refresh for the upcoming SUV except for its Limited Edition trim.

The 2017 Outlander Sport is coming out with a new Limited Edition trim where it sits above the ES trim and just below the SE trim. The Limited Edition sports an alloy fuel filler door, fog lamps, HID headlamps, black door mirrors, and black 18-inch alloy wheels.

Underneath the hood, the new Outlander Sport LE carries 148 bhp 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and the CVT. Those who prefer more upgraded engine can get the higher end model with a 168 bhp 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine.

On the inside, the new Outlander Sport LE boasts of its black fabric upholstery with red accent stitching on the steering wheel, brake lever and shift knob. It will also come with heated front seats and aluminum pedals. For the audio system, the new SUV carries the Apple Car Play and Android Auto apps.

With regard to the price tag, the standard front-wheel drive for the Limited Edition costs $22,890. There is also the option of an all-wheel-drive which starts from a higher price of $24,390, Motor Authority reported.

Meanwhile, Mitsubishi offers a $1,500 cash back for the 2017 Outlander Sport. The automaker encourages its customers to negotiate their best price to avail of the deal.
