A new report from The Guardian has shared the public a new information on the upcoming Samsung flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy S8, which will be unveiled in late March with the phone going on sale in April of this year. The publication also suggests that the device will be available in two different sizes in the 5-inch to 6-inch range. Codenamed Dream and Dream 2, the two models will attribute the company's infinity display with curved sides and little bezel.

According to the online publication, the screen will stretch right to the edges of the handset's body, leaving barely no space to put the Samsung's brand name at the front. The device will feature a front-facing biometric iris sensor, and the fingerprint scanner will be moved to the rear side of the device.

The aspect ratio of the phone has 18.5:9, which is slightly different from the standard 16:9 ratio. It will showcase a new 5.5-inch 4K Ultra high Definition (UHD), which will have a sharp 806 pixels per inch (PPI).

The Samsung Galaxy S8 allegedly has powerful specs than any other Samsung model. It will have 4 GB of RAM for speed performance, and the base of 64 GB for internal storage. The smartphone expandable storage via microSD supports up to 256 GB capacity.

On the other hand, other new features of the new Samsung Galaxy S8 includes the use of USB-C, the use of the new Snapdragon 835, and the new feature called the "DeX" dock, which allows the handset to be turned into an Android-based desktop computer. However, it remains to be seen how the new dock will work as it has, so far it only has been seen in the HP Elite x3 which is running on Windows 10.

The phone will also have its own artificial intelligence assistance. According to 9 to 5 Google, Bixby will be the virtual assistant of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. The VA will perform an excellent task via an object recognition or voice recognition.
