A very much welcome update for Windows 10 could be underway. The news about the upcoming Microsoft Windows update came from an image that has been rolled out all over the internet. The screenshot came from WinAero developer Sergey Tkachenko.

A series of screenshots discussed how users can now put Windows updates on temporary halt for up to 35 days. The screenshots were taken from a build that was recently leaked for the upcoming Windows 10 Creators Update. It is expected that the said update will be rolled out for free in the first quarter of 2017. See screenshot below for the 'Pause Update' feature.

It is important to note, however, that even though the Windows updates can be paused for a maximum of 35 days, certain updates like Windows Defender definition updates would still continue to be automatically downloaded and installed. This note is specifically for those who expect their internet connectivity to be at normal speeds since auto updates are put on hold. Download for other important components that are exempted from the pause feature may be possibly big enough to distort the household internet connectivity.

Windows automatic updates may sound very convenient, everyone seems to forget their computers every now and then, but some people prefer to manually update their Windows PCs for various reasons. Computers that are set to work 24/7 are being disrupted by automatic updates as they tend to restart the system, stopping the automation.

It has also been a common complaint that Windows 10 updates disrupt work at very inconvenient hours. Skype calls or online meetings are the main victims of the auto update and even restart of office units. The big file size also is a hindrance to the automatic updates, especially for those who have shared internet networks, the update download session would hog the bandwidth - affecting other users' internet usage.

Microsoft Windows 10 Game Mode is another upcoming feature that PC gamers would love to have. Check out the video below for details:
