A teenager from Oklahoma City found a 3.85-carat diamond at Arkansas' Crater of Diamonds State Park.
Tana Clymer, 14, discovered the yellow diamond on Oct. 19 at the park, which is currently only diamond-producing location in the United States that is also open to the public, according to the Associated Press.
Clymer had been digging in the dirt for approximately two hours when she unearthed the diamond on the search field.
"This canary diamond is very similar to the gem-quality, 4.21-carat canary diamond found at the Crater of Diamonds by Oklahoma State Trooper Marvin Culver of Nowata, Oklahoma, on March 12, 2006, a gem he named the Okie Dokie Diamond," said Bill Henderson, assistant park superintendent, according to the AP.
Clymer named her discovery "God's Jewel," park officials confirmed.
The teardrop-shaped yellow diamond is about the size of a jellybean.
"Tana told me that she was so excited, she couldn't sleep last night," Henderson said. "She's either going to keep the diamond for a ring, or, if it's worth a lot, she'll want that for college."
The 3.85-carat gem is the 396th diamond discovered in 2013 so far this year at the park, which is located in southern Arkansas.
Other discoveries made at the state park includes amethyst, garnet, agate, and quartz, according to AP.
