Italdesign is set to unleash 5 sexy and powerful limited-edition supercars that will make the Aventador and R8 cringe. This new car brand aptly called "Italdesign Automobili Speciali," pretty straightforward packs a whopping 205mph with a beefed up carbon body and is set to debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

This sub-brand is aimed at creating a handful of supercars mainly for high-end collectors and enthusiasts. Filippo Perini, Italdesign Supercar Project Chief and Innovation Design Head, said: "For the first time we can offer collectors the chance to order a true made-to-measure car."

The upcoming Italdesign Automobili Speciali limited edition is the product of almost 50 years worth of design expertise. They set to debut a new model every 18 to 24 months.

Since Italdesign is part of the Volkswagen group, having been bought in 2010, it's no surprise that the limited edition Italdesign Automobili Speciali's engine is sourced from a Lamborghini. It houses a 5.2-liter V10 engine.

Possibly around 600 horsepower could likely be sent to either the rear or all four wheels via a dual-clutch transmission, with an estimated top speed of 205 mph, according to MotorTrend. Its 0-60mph acceleration is estimated to be around 3.2 seconds.

This likely is a heavy contender in the hypercar market as company engineers promise a "racing car performance with type approval" so that these 5 sexy bad boys can flaunt their muscles on normal roads.

Pricing of the Italian powerful car sounds to the tune of around $1,600,000 or £1.3 million, which is higher compared with the price tag on either the Huracan or Aventador, reports AutoCar UK. The limited edition Italdesign Automobili Speciali will also offer individual owners a wide variety of equipment, trim, and performance personalization options.

The upcoming sexy yet limited edition Italdesign Automobili Speciali will grace the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in March, alongside other luxury vehicles and hypercars. In the meantime, check out the video below showcasing Italdesign's first ever vehicle with a full carbon fiber bodywork.
