The recently launched ASUS Zenfone 3 Max will be produced next in India, ASUS management officially announced during a press statement.

The decision to manufacture Zenfone 3 Max in India highlights ASUS' "Make in India" initiative and commitment. This is a news shared by the company orginally based in Taiwan last Tuesday. ASUS' production factory in Union Territory in Daman and Diu in Daman will be Zen 3 Max's production location; it was also confirmed that initial manufacturing will begin on December.

South Asia and Country Manager for ASUS Asia Peter Chan shared that ASUS considers India as one of the most significant markets out there. The Region Head added that the company continues to build up its branding; with existence in the Indian market and strengthening operations as its core focus, aside from depending on its headquarters in Taiwan, according to Android Authority.

With the positive receptiveness of Indians to smarthphone usability, ASUS deems that the most effective way to reach the domestic market's expected demands would be through a local manufacturing platform.
