Asia continues on with its daily lives and introduces a new car to the rest of the world, not so enthusiastic about when the next EV will be out.

Kia's SUV contender was first introduced in 2008. It demanded entry-level attention with its smart design, standard but generous equipment and a pocket friendly tag price. Let's take a further look on his Kia's latest SUV-sedan hybrid.

The Kia 2017 Soul was revealed recently during the Paris Motor Show. Its engine comes at a1.6-liter turbocharged capacity.

The expected energy output will be around a 201 hp. It has since had an upgrade from its 2008 predecessor's 164 hp. It is almost a 30% increase.

It brings a seven-speed dual-clutch feature from its direct-injected four-cylinder transmission. This will make it a rival for other SUVs. The 1.6-liter power train comes with an extra power suited for overtaking on the high way. The South Korean carmaker announces that their latest SUV has an expected output of zero to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds. Obviously faster than the release of a 2.0-liter version.

Its design is no copy-cat from the usual SUV-sedan hybrids. It boasts of a signature grille and model-specific bumper. It definitely has a look uniquely its own.

Not to be ignored are its 18-inch, 10-spoke wheels and red trimmed highlights. The 2017 Kia Soul's headlights comes with LED daytime running lamps as an added option.
