'Forza Motorsport 6' has expanded its roster of supercars with the recent addition of the Chryslus Rocket '69. This beauty of a car was featured in another hit video game 'Fallout 4.'
The availability of the Chryslus Rocket ’69 was borne out of the recent partnership between Bethesda Game Studios and Turn 10 Studios in November 2015.
Beginning April 14, codes for the Chryslus Rocket ’69 will be forwarded to gamers through Xbox Live messages. Users are required to have “Forza Motorsport 6” or “Fallout 4” games installed on their Xbox One so they can link with their Xbox Live profile and receive a unique code. One code will be sent for every Xbox Live account.
Millions of codes will be forwarded, so some players may receive these earlier than others. The entire sending process may take up to seven days. Gamers who purchased either of the two games between April 14 and 30 will get their codes beginning early in May.
"With its retro-futuristic lines and performance that will take you from zero to 'whoa' in a handful of seconds, the Chryslus Rocket '69 is a unique addition to any collection that features a custom Forza vista experience that details its history and lets players check out its features in astonishing detail,” writes ForzaMotorSport.net. This vehicle was made for cruising along post-apocalyptic terrain and roads. The Rocket ’69 has a top speed of 200mph and reportedly offers unlimited possibilities for racers.
The Chryslus Rocket ’69 also received several aesthetic treatments before it was officially available on “Forza Motorsport 6.” The Rocket '69 boasted a candy-red color, had sports whitewall tires, a lot of chrome and a sleek and detailed body, BoldRide notes.
Turn 10 Studios posted a video of the Rocket ’69 cruising the highway, along with other classic cars in its era. Special attention was given to its powerful turbines and unique driver control system. The car had a very modern appearance with its unique shape and high speed as it weaved through traffic.
Tech Times also writes that the video game showcases more than 450 cars and around 35 tracks. The game also added the 1956 Ford F100 from “Fallout 4” recently. The game has received many positive reviews since its launch in 2015. The game has an ESRB rating of “E,” which means that kids of all ages can enjoy the new post-apocalyptic vehicle too.
