Katie Couric Drives For Uber in Funny Parody Video (WATCH)

Katie Couric: award-winning journalist, best-selling author and customer-friendly Uber driver?

Apparently so, as the former NBC "Today Show" host can be seen in a new parody video that explains how Uber's confusing rating system actually works.

The video, filmed by sisters Danielle and Laura Kosann of the website The New Potato, shows how passengers with good Uber ratings receive perks like fresh water bottles, hot towels and Couric as their driver.

"What are you doing driving an Uber?" the sisters ask Couric after noticing their famous driver.

Couric's response is perhaps the funniest part of the whole video.

"You know, to earn a little pocket change," Couric hilariously says before asking if the girls want some water.

The video also features a spot-on Matthew McConaughey impression from his Lincoln commercials last year (not by Couric before you get your hopes up).

Couric, known for her work with NBC, ABC and CBS, now works for Yahoo! as Global Anchor of Yahoo! News.

Check out the video below and make sure to be nice to your next Uber driver.
