Any.do, a popular mobile app that functions as a virtual "to do" list, has launched a Web version that is currently in beta testing, PCMag.com reported.

Users of the cloud-based task management platform have been requesting an Any.do Web app for a while to make the service easier to use from different computers. Available for iOS and Android, Any.do has a Chrome extension, but the feature had to be installed on the computer for users to be able to access their lists.

"The Web app removes that barrier," PCMag noted.

The app's new online version can be viewed in Planning Mode or Focus Mode; the former shows multiple folders at once to give an overview of upcoming tasks, while the latter zeros in on what's scheduled for the immediate future.

An app for serious list-makers, Any.do compiles your to do lists and includes time and date reminders. While it's missing from the beta Web version, Any.do's signature feature is the Any.do "moment," which is a timely reminder to review your upcoming schedule and tasks, according to PCMag.

Users can time their Any.do moments for a specific time on certain days to be routinely reminded of what they need to get done. Any.do takes you through the tasks to be done, giving the option to change anything if needed.

"The idea behind this feature is to make a habit of reviewing your daily to-do list, and I think the app actually manages to get it done," PCMag's Jilly Duffy wrote in a review of the Android version.

The Any.do Android app also suggests other apps that can help you complete your task, basing the recommendations on keywords in your to do list.
