The base 2014 Ford Focus sedan will be available for a base price of $17,635, including an $825 shipping fee, according to the automaker.
Ford said the new price is approximately $640 more than the 2013 model. The automaker feels that the more expensive price won't deter shoppers from considering the sedan however.
The 2014 Ford Focus Titanium with a six-speed automatic transmission is available for $23,900, including shipping, according to the automaker.
The Focus competes in the same segment as similar models like the Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla.
Ford has also made a $995 Sport Appearance package available for the Focus SE.
The package comes with features like rear disc brakes, rear spoiler, leather steering wheel and shift knob, 16-inch painted machined wheels and fog lamps.
The 2014 Ford Focus has been listed at $19,450, including shipping.
