Audi has had a big week at the 2014 International CES, revealing a number of new devices and vehicles, including the redesigned cabin for the 2015 Audi TT.

Audi said at the event that its 2015 TT with the high tech with a fully digital instrument cluster will start arriving at showrooms later this year.

Pricing for the sports car has not been revealed yet however.

The German automaker decided to redesign the vehicle's cabin to allow "the driver to experience technology," Audi said in a statement.

The new cabin in the third-generation TT has been called a "virtual cockpit" designed to put information in front of the driver. The "virtual cockpit" replaces the previously used gauge cluster with a digital display that can show more than one screen.

Drivers will be able to switch between two different display modes. The display modes confirmed by Audi are: "classic view" and "infotainment" mode.

The instrument panel was created to look like an airplane wing, according to Audi. Round air nozzles, a classic TT design cue, will both still be included, according to the automaker.

The cabin also comes with a multifunctional steering wheel. Designers were inspired by smartphones when creating the steering wheel, which comes with a full-text search feature, according to Audi.

Make sure to check back for more information closer to when the 2015 Audi TT is released.
