Call her Cinderella, maybe.

Pop star Carly Rae Jepsen will debut on Broadway playing the titular peasant-turned-princess in "Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella" starting Feb. 4, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The 28-year-old, who rose to fame on the strength of such hits as "Call Me Maybe" and "Good Time" (with Owl City), is signed for a 12-week run with the show.

She replaces the show's original Cinderella, Tony nominee Laura Osnes.

"Broadway has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl and I look forward to working with this incredibly talented cast to tell this classic tale," Jepsen said in a press statement as quoted by EW. "These last few years have been a real fairy tale come to life for me, so I feel especially blessed to play this part and be reminded that you must never stop dreaming!"

The show will be Jepsen's first professional theater appearance; the "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" singer was in high school productions of "The Wizard of Oz," "Grease" and "The Wiz" in British Columbia, EW reported.

Jepsen made her own announcement about the show on Instagram, sharing a poster of the show with the caption: "I'm ready to spill my NYC secret. I am going to be playing Cinderella on Broadway starting Feb. 4th! Dream come true."

She will be joined by fellow Broadway debut Fran Drescher, who will begin playing Cinderella's stepmother on Feb. 4. Drescher will be part of the show for 10 weeks and succeeds Harriet Harris, who originated the role.

Using the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein songs, the new staging of "Cinderella" has a new book by Douglas Carter Beane.

EW calls the show a "slightly modernized take" on the classic Cinderella fairytale with reinvented characters.

After its opening on March 3 of this year, the show garnered nine Tony Award nominations and won one for costume design.
