Drew Barrymore and husband Will Kopelman are expecting their second child, PEOPLE reported.

A representative confirmed to PEOPLE that the 38-year-old actress and producer is expecting a brother or sister for daughter Olive, 13 months. Barrymore recently spoke to InStyle about her hope that Olive would soon have a sibling.

"I was an only child, and it was lonely," she said in the magazine's September issue. "Some people love it and thrive on the independence, but I want my kids to have other kids around.

"Maybe two kids so they can run around life together, roll their eyes at their parents together like Rusty and Audrey Griswold from '[National Lampoon's] Vacation.' So however that's going to come about, it's gonna happen!"

Barrymore, who has been a CoverGirl spokesmodel for five years, plans to create her own makeup line that will hit Walmart stores early next year, according to The Daily MailThe busy mother told Allure in December that she was grateful to have had plenty of life experiences before starting a family.

"I'm glad I lived such a full life before I settled down into a family because I got to enjoy it and get it out of my system," she said.

She and Kopelman welcomed Olive last September, and Barrymore also spoke to InStyle about the joy and anxiety that comes with being a parent.

"I love the person who said, 'Parenting is like wearing your heart on the outside of your body.' It's the most beautiful, perfect analogy," Barrymore said. "I have anxieties about how much I'd like to get it right, making sure I provide her with an environment that's safe, nurturing and loving. And silly and free, also consistent and grounding. Then I just have the same typical fear every other parent has: 'Are they going to fall down?'"
