The iPhone 6 could be released this summer according to an analyst at Piper Jaffray.
Analyst Gene Munster said last month that he believes Apple will launch its iPhone 6 by August 2014, which would be the earliest release date in recent memory for a new iPhone.
An early release would be good news for Apple fans who have decided to skip the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C to get the iPhone 6 once it comes out.
Munster said the iPhone 6 will be a "blockbuster" move for Apple, according to a report by Yahoo Finance.
Similar predictions have been made by other experts, like David Hsieh of NPD DisplaySearch.
Hsieh feels confident that Apple will release two separate versions of its new smartphone sometime during the second quarter of 2014.
Both phones will come with a larger screen than the iPhone 5, 5S, and 5C.
A 4.7-inch 1280x720 device, and a 5.7-inch 1920x1080 device have each been predicted by Hsieh.
Other rumored features for the iPhone 6 includes a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, 64-bit A7 process, a 128 GB option, and a 12 MP camera.
Apple has yet to confirm anything regarding the release date or specs for the iPhone 6 as of press time.
