The iPhone 6 may be released as early as this summer according to an analyst at Piper Jaffray.
Analyst Gene Munster said recently that he believes Apple will launch its next iPhone, expected to be the iPhone 6, by summer 2014.
The next iPhone device will come with a number of new features like a larger screen, believed to be at around 5 inches, according to The New York Post.
An early release might be good news for Apple shareholders, as stock in Apple has been disappointing the last year or so.
Munster said the iPhone 6 will be a "blockbuster" move for Apple, according to a report by Yahoo Finance.
Other experts seem to agree with Munster's prediction, like David Hsieh of NPD DisplaySearch. Hsieh feels that Apple will release two separate version of the iPhone 6 in the second quarter of 2014, both with a larger screen than the iPhone 5, 5S, and 5C.
The two iPhone devices will be: 4.7-inch 1280x720, and 5.7-inch 1920x1080, according to Hsieh.
Other features the iPhone 6 is rumored to come equipped with includes a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, 64-bit A7 process, a 128 GB option, and a 12 MP camera.
Apple has yet to confirm anything regarding the release date or specs for the iPhone 6 as of press time.
Muster also said Apple TV and iWatch will be released soon, but failed to confirm a time frame.
