Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a dry ice explosion at Los Angeles International Airport terminal earlier this week.
Dicarlo Bennett, 28, an employee for Servisair, a ground handling company, was booked for "possession of a destructive device near an aircraft," according to the Associated Press.
Bennett is being held on $1 million bail. He supposedly made the bombs by taking dry ice from a plane and placing the ice inside a plastic bottle.
The first explosion took place in an employee bathroom on Oct. 13, and two other dry ice bombs were found later that day and on Oct. 14, neither of which exploded.
No one was injured during the explosion.
"Police can confirm the arrest of a single suspect related to the two dry-ice incidents at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)," Los Angeles Airport Police Chief Patrick Gannon said on Oct. 15, according to CNN.
Police have not revealed if they're looking for any other suspects. No other employees have been arrested in the case.
Though he was arrested in connection to both explosions, charges have only been filed for one for now.
"We want to reassure the traveling public, visitors and employees that LAX is safe and secure," Gannon said.
People assumed the explosions were an act of terrorism, but LAPD Chief Michael Downing said that Bennett is known as a "prankster" and thought he was being funny.
"There is no terrorism here," said Downing in a statement. "This is one man involved who made very poor choices. There is nothing funny about what he did."
