Chris Duhon Intentionally Hit by a Car in Orlando Parking Lot

NBA player Chris Duhon was hit by a car recently after he got into a verbal dispute with a driver in the middle of a mall parking lot in Orlando.

Duhon's brother-in-law, Julio Hernandez, said the altercation took place when the driver started honking at the two to get out of his way.

Hernandez told police as the vehicle passed, the driver rolled down his window and said something to Duhon and Hernandez, according to Fox 35 Orlando.

The driver then got out of his car and started yelling at Duhon face-to-face.

Hernandez claims to have separated his brother-in-law and the driver and they kept on walking when the driver got back in his car. The two got 20 feet away from the vehicle when the Lexus when the driver chose to accelerate towards them.

Hernandez was able to avoid the vehicle, but Duhon was hit, according to Fox 35 Orlando.

Duhon landed on the hood of the vehicle and hit his head on the front windshield. He was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center by an ambulance.

The former Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Laker was able to walk out of the hospital under his own power later that night. Police said he claimed to have no recollection of the incident however.
