A new rumor has made its way around the internet that the next iPhone device, presumed to be the iPhone 6, will be released by March 2014.

Despite the fact that the iPhone 5S and iPhone C were just made available for purchase weeks ago, Apple has supposedly set a release date for its next device during sometime in the first quarter of next year.

If the rumors are true, Apple's next iPhone will be released between January and March of 2014.

If the iPad 4 and iPad Mini launch dates are any indication Apple is definitely no longer opposed of the idea of releasing a new device less than a year after releasing its predecessor.

"Our teams are hard at work on some amazing new hardware, software, and services that we can't wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014," said Tim Cook at a recent earnings call with investors, according to the International Business Times.

Many people have speculated that the iPhone 5S and 5C were only released because Apple had not finished features that will be included with the iPhone 6 yet and the two new devices gives them sometime to complete those features.

Some features expected to come with the next iPhone includes: a 5-6 inch screen, full HD support, 64-bit A7 process, and a 12 MP rear camera.

Internal storage of up to 128GB is also expected according to the International Business Times.

Apple has yet to comment on any major rumors regarding the next iPhone.
