The next installment in the "Transformers" franchise will be called "Age of Extinction" according to a report by CNN.

The franchise's director Michael Bay had previously stated that the fourth "Transformers" film will take place four years after the battle in Chicago when the Autobots and Decepticons have just about vanished from Earth.

"The story makes a very natural transition, and reason as to why we have a whole new cast," Bay has said according to CNN. "This 'Transformers' will feel very different than the last three. We are embarking on a new trilogy."

A poster released this week seemingly indicates that dinobots will be introduced in Bay's next film.

Bay has not discussed if dinobots will be included in the next film, but has confirmed Shia LaBeouf will not be starring in "Age of Extinction."

Taking over for LaBeouf is Mark Wahlberg, who previously starred in Bay's film "Pain and Gain" this summer.

"I cannot disclose the specifics, but you can be sure that the joining of the Dinobots will give the audience new excitement," said producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura to Beijing News. "In addition to Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, the appearance of these classic roles changed, today the world's coolest, most exciting cars will appear in the film, including China's vehicles, whether you are a car enthusiast, you will feast your eyes and be shocked by them."

Bay has confirmed bits and pieces about the new movie since announced the fourth film last year, like Bumblebee becoming a 1967 Camaro.

Other actors set to appear include Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, and Nicola Peltz, according to Bay.

The film will hit theaters on June 27, 2014.
