The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Edition was unveiled earlier today, July 24, before its scheduled debut at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
The Legend is the first of six limited edition models to honor racing legends according to Bugatti.
The firs limited edition model honors Jean-Pierre Wimille, who won the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice for Bugatti.
The Veyron was designed based on Wimille's winning race car, and features a "Racing Blue Finish" according to Bugatti.
The legendary racer died in a car crash in 1949 in Buenos Aires.
Only three units will be released to the public, although pricing for those models has yet to be announced.
Five other Legend editions will be introduced over the next 12 months as the automaker celebrates "the names that have shaped its history."
