iOS 7 Untethered Jailbreak: Solution Could Be in Jeopardy After Evasi0n Developer Threatens Switch to Android Over ‘Awful’ Design, What This Means For Freeing Your iPhone 5 (VIDEO)

Since iOS 7 was released last week it has been met with an overall mixed reaction, but one of the key developers of the successful Evasi0n jailbreak is so disgusted by the new operating system he may jump ship completely.

The Evasi0n developer, known as Pod2g on Twitter, recently tweeted that after a few days of beta testing the newest iOS is the worst move Apple has made in a long time.

"I must admit that I am about to switch to an Android device. IMHO, this version of iOS is the worst move Apple did in a long time," said Pod2g this week on Twitter. "iOS 7 design is awful, it's slow, battery life time is the worst ever, it's full of UI bugs and crashes. OK it's beta 1, but still."

Time will tell if the jailbreak team known as the Evad3rs do release a successful jailbreak for Apple's newest operating system, but millions of users around the world will be disappointed if they don't at least try.

After successfully releasing a jailbreak for devices running on iOS 6 or higher, the Evad3rs announced back in April that they wouldn't attempt a jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 according to the International Business Times.

The team was the only one to accomplish a safe and successful jailbreak to free devices like the iPhone 5 and the latest iPod and iPad devices.

Over 20 million users downloaded the jailbreak called EvasiOn, and for six weeks their site was easily one of the most visited webpages on the internet.

Evasi0n's success came to end once iOS 6.1.3 rolled around however. The operating system blocked anyone from bypassing an iPhone lockscreen using its emergency call function, allowing the user to make a call or gaining partial access to the phone's private data according to Forbes.

Apple revealed iOS 7 at the WWDC event in California last week.
