More action indeed was shown from the recent episode 3 of Boruto: Naruto the Next Generations as Boruto and his classmates shows off their specialties and skills. This episode focuses more on Boruto's classmates Metal Lee and Shikadai.

Previously on Episode 2, it will be recalled that Boruto just came back after his two weeks suspension because of a train derailment incident. Not all of his classmates were impressed with him though as most of them felt that he is receiving special treatments because he is the son of Naruto.

His classmates felt that he should have been given jail time because he endangered the lives of his classmates when the train carriage crashed straight in the Hokage Rock. However, Boruto was able to gain the trust of his classmates when he defended Denki from Iwabe, a senior bully during a fight scene.

In Episode 3, more focus was given to Boruto's classmates Metal Lee and Shikadai. The episode began with students having a lesson about shurikens. Some of the students have already a full grasp of the lesson about shurikens and one particular student who excelled in this lesson is Metal Lee, who at the beginning of the lesson strikes two bulls-eyes without any difficulty.

However, when he was about to throw the next shuriken, he already loses focus because he noticed that all of his classmates were watching him. This brought about criticisms from Shikadai where Metal felt bad about the incident. When Shikadai sets out to apologize the next day, he attacks him instead. Boruto together with Inojin came to Shikadai's aid and teamed up to stop Metal.

Boruto was able to try out a new technique called the Demon Wind Shuriken or Fuma Shuriken. He was forced to use this unmastered skill in order to stop Metal from attacking Shikadai. Although they were successful in stopping Metal, the new skill of Boruto may potentially create problems in the future as the skill is still unstable.

On the other hand, Shikadai also used the Shadow Imitation Skill like the time when his father used it, which is a specialty of the Nara Clan. Stay tuned for more exciting episodes as Boruto and his friends continue on with their journey! More exciting episodes to come in Boruto: Naruto the Next Generations.
