A Kenyan trapeze artist who fell 85 feet while performing at the Moscow circus last month held a news conference in Moscow on April 17 to confirm he's doing okay.

Karo Christopher Kazungu, 23, was preparing for his act for three years according to a report by the Associated Press.

Back in March, Kazungu was in the middle of performing what he called a "complicated" and "risky" act when he lost control and fell.

Kazungu hit the safety net, which is designed to prevent gymnast from suffering injuries, so hard that he created a large hole and went straight through it and landed on the ground.

The trapeze artist suffered a number of injuries including a fractured vertebrae according to the Associated Press.

Kazungu was taken straight to the hospital were doctors operated on him immediately. He's being recovering ever since and stated his health has drastically improved since this time last month.

"Doctors hurried up to take me to the hospital and I thank that they saved my life," Kazungu said according to the Associated Press.

Kazungu doesn't plan on performing the stunt again and will instead work "like a normal artist."

The video of the fall has since been uploaded to a number of different video sharing sites like Gawker and YouTube, receiving thousands of hits in just under a month.
