iPhone 8 Delayed Until November; What Could Be The Reason?

According to various reports, iPhone 8 is delayed until October or November. Everyone's very eager to see what how this anniversary phone looks like and what it offers, however, it may take a little longer. Anxious fans are now curious to find out the reason for the delay.

Apple Inc. apparently is having problems relating to the lamination process of curved OLED panels and adoption of 3D sensing system. The company usually launches its best devices during its annual event which happens beginning of fall (particularly September). Because of this issue, the iPhone 8 may have to be announced a month later.

This news somehow debunks the report earlier stating that the iPhone 8 will be released in limited quantities by September and will be available mainstream by end of the year. Basing from the latest report, it seems that the anniversary edition of iPhone will not be available in any way until later this year.

Another interesting news reveals Apple ordering over 70 million OLED displays from Samsung. The order may even balloon up to 90 million OLED displays as Samsung is its exclusive dealer for OLED displays. Since the OLED displays can be made available, the technical issues may be the real culprit and not the lack of parts.

With so many leaks released almost daily, everything suggests that the iPhone 8 will have radical changes. It is expected to be cutting-edge, enough to give the latest Samsung phones a run for its money. It is then expected that this device will not come cheap, with rumored retail price of at least $1000.

There is still a bit of good news. There are also reports stating that the iPhone 8 may still be available this September. Apple Inc. may be on the double to catch up with the deadline for September launch and more importantly for the crucial holiday retail season.

As these reports are non-conclusive and unofficial, it is best to stay tuned for any official news relating to the iPhone 8. Its release, whether September or November will have YET to be confirmed. Any official news from Apple Inc. will immediately be reported for everyone's reference.
