Some may not know or heard anything about the Indian multinational automobile manufacturer, Mahindra, and it is one of the largest vehicle company in the country which is also known in some other places around the globe. One of their upcoming models this year is the 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Getaway.

The company is the largest manufacturer of the tractors in the world and at the same time booming the car industry. Scorpio as they call it, the car model is also known in Europe as Goa.

With the new generation model, there hasn't much change made from its basic shape. Its styling modification is focused on the new grille and lights. There is also extensive modernization made with the car's sharper headlights and more modern front bumper.

For the 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Getaway's hood, it was redesigned and comes with a new scoop. The cabin, on the other hand, comes with some upgrades. It is far better now than the old one and is substantially more refined visually now. The new color scheme, as well as upholstery, is also one of the things that make the cabin attractive.

Under the 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Getaway's hood, it will have an unchanged engine which just means that it comes with a 2.6-liter I4 diesel engine. It can deliver a horsepower up to 109 and torque in 188 lb-ft. A 2.2-liter I4 engine is also possible which can provide a horsepower rated at 120 and torque in 214 lb-ft.

Both of the said engines are paired with a manual 5-speed gearbox with a four-wheel drive system that offers a fair off road capabilities. This model will probably have its debut this year with a single cab model for the global market while the country of its origin will also have a double cab model.
