$338 Million Ticket: New Jersey Truck Driver Claims To Have Winning Numbers For Fourth Largest Jackpot (PHOTOS/ VIDEO)

A New Jersey truck driver claims he's the winner of the $338.3 million Powerball jackpot.

"He was excited. He said he won the lottery and asked how he could collect the jackpot," said Isaiah DeVries, manager of the truck stop on Highway 206, just off the New Jersey Turnpike.

DeVries stated that the truck driver called Love's Travel Stop in Bordentown, N.J. at 11:30 p.m. on Mar. 24. As he was about to tell the driver how he could go about collecting the jackpot, the call suddenly got disconnected.

The report indicates that only one ticket sold in N.J. had all six numbers needed to collect the fourth-largest Powerball prize ever according to The New York Daily News.

"It's kind of a bummer. I hope he'll call back," DeVries told The Daily News late Sunday night.

The winning numbers were 17, 29, 31, 52, 53 and Powerball 31. If the winner, who called the gas station from Delaware, chooses a lump-sum payout, he'll be awarded $211 million after taxes.

New Jersey officials are planning on releasing more information at a news conference today, Mar. 25 according to ABC News.

"I'm sure if I were to see his face I would recognize him. He claimed to be a usual here in the store," DeVries said according to ABC News.

The price for a Powerball ticket went up in Jan. 2012 from $1 a ticket to $2, which is the reason jackpots have increased significantly.

"We redesigned the game and with more money going into the game, the jackpot prize pool has doubled so more people are playing because the jackpot is growing higher," Multi-State Lottery Association President Jim Haynes said.

Powerball tickets are sold in approximately 44 states and the estimated odds that one person wins the jackpot is one in 175,000.
