Koenigsegg didn't get any cake to celebrate its 10th year of production, but there was some revelry from the Swedish carmaker in the form of a one-off special edition of its celebrated Agera S supercar.

The Agera S Hundra is a tribute to the carmaker's 100th production vehicle (Hundra is Swedish for 100).

The company first started developing production cars in 2002 and a decade later, in September 2012, the first carbon fiber pieces cut by the Koenigsegg factory routing machine were for the company's 100th.

Engineers finished producing the 100th car in time for the 83rd International Geneva Motor Show, where it is with come equally speedy company.

The car is built to the same standards as a typical production Agera S, which features a twin-turbo 5-liter V-8 engine that pushes out 1,030 horsepower, made even speedier by a full carbon fiber body -- including carbon fiber wheels -- that make the car a trim 2,821 pounds.

The special edition Hundra features 24 karat gold inlays set by hand into the carbon fiber body by artisans in what Koenigsegg calls "an intriguing mix of traditional and hi-tech craftsmanship."

But Koenigsegg didn't stop with just gold inlays. The Hundra features gold on the exhaust piping, the rear deck struts amid the coil springs.

All the gold, carbon fiber and horsepower will reportedly value the one-of-a-kind car at $1.6 million.

While at 10 years old Koenigsegg isn't exactly in its golden years, the company has received many awards for its cars, including four Guinness world records and the Top Gear Hypercar of the Year award.
