Samsung Galaxy S8 will come in a new generation of a display but would not come at a cheap price. The galaxy s8 and the iPhone 8 are the two smartphones expected to battle it out this year, but both have something in common, they would come in a higher expensive price tag.

According to BGR, Samsung is not releasing any official price tag for the Samsung S8 until the end of March. Reports a few weeks ago said that the Galaxy S8 would be more expensive than its S7 and the Apple's cheapest next generation of iPhone.

A leaked news states that the phone would come in three colors; Black, Gold and Orchid Gray. The phone would cost about $950 to $1,050.

Furthermore, Forbes writes that the Samsung S8 would have a newer display. The phone now is capable of shrinking its borders.

The display size would be changeable, but the physical size of the device would remain the same. The phone would also have the new generation of Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) display making the phone more of a virtual button feels than having physical home buttons.

The phone can be bought in the smaller version with a display size of 5.8 inches, or the larger size in 6.2 inches. One thing to picture out is that the S8 would continue with the curved display trend, just like what the S7 Edge and Note 7 have.

The leaked details are not yet verified that it is accurate, but if it were, then the new S8 would be $100 more than its predecessor. With the S8 bumping up in price, it is still cheaper than the Apple's iPhone 8, which is expected to cost more than $1000 and to be launched by mid-September. Unfortunately, increasing in price is not something that fans would be happy about.
