Fire Emblem Heroes Major Update Brings New Characters and Maps: Bonus Period Extended!

The Fire Emblem Heroes first major update has dropped and it brings a lot of goodies which everyone will surely enjoy. Now that the Launch Summoning Focus event has ended, the update brings in the next game focus which is the Family Bonds Summoning.

The major update brings in brother and sister tandems Ephraim and Elrika of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stone, and Seliph and Julia of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. Nintendo added three new missions to the Paralogue story maps. Players can play all three missions in three different game modes and collect up to 9 free orbs that can be used on new heroes. Paralogue Maps are up for a limited time only, therefore, make sure to collect them all right before it vanishes.

In addition to the update, Nintendo also sends out confirmations for bonus period and exp additions extension. So, starting today, the benefits of the Worldwide Launch Celebration will stay indefinitely. Therefore, stamina cost on Training Towers stays at 50% cost and equipping skills price remains unchanged.

Until March 14, players will continue to receive two summoning orbs per day as rewards. Starting February 20 to 21, Training Tower's rewards will be up for grab. But, there are no further details yet on what to expect. Lastly, units will receive EXPs even in weaker opponents starting early March. So far, these are the details provide by Nintendo for Fire Emblem Heroes.

In other news, an audio glitch caused a horrifying experience for some Fire Emblem Heroes players. The music turned into something devilish-like music and voices sounded like demonic growls from horror movies. Some players captured the said glitch and uploaded to Youtube. Nintendo has not commented on the issue yet; AWN will provide updates once Big N revealed its bug fixes. Here are some of the captured video of the glitch.
