For the fourth year in a row, Mercedes-Benz has been name one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" by Fortune magazine.
The company was listed as No. 30, the highest ranking for a company based out of New Jersey and the only auto manufacturer to be listed.

"We are delighted this marks our fourth year on Fortune's list, highlighting the great people, teamwork and culture we value here at MBUSA," said Steve Cannon, President and CEO, MBUSA in the company press release. "Together we were able to make 2012 a year of record-breaking sales, with increases across the board at Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter and smart."
The complete list was released online today, and will appear in the Feb 4 issue of Fortune magazine.
Fortune partnered with the Great Place to Work Institute to make up the most extensive employee survey in the country. Over 259 firms participated in the 16th annual survey according to the company's press release. The survey was based on over 277,000 employee responses.
The survey asks questions related to their attitudes about management's credibility, job satisfaction, and camaraderie, among other things according to the press release. After the surveys are completed and collected, answers are then examined and taken into account for the next list.
Any company that is at least five years old and has more than 1,000 U.S. employees is eligible.
"We aim to deliver a world-class customer experience in all that we do," said Cannon. "Being recognized by our employees as a best company affirms that we are able to offer the same quality experience internally as we are externally."
Mercedes-Benz is headquartered in Montvale, New Jersey, and is responsible for the distribution, and customer service for all Mercedes-Benz products in the U.S.
