Volvo V90 Cross Country combines comfortable, engaging driving experience and all-road capability. Its all-road large wheels and impressive ground clearance will get you there in luxurious style and comfort.

According to Top Gear, the new Volvo V90 Cross Country comes with two engine choices. Both of the engines are 2liter four-cylinder turbodiesels. The D4 engine comes with 190 horsepower, while the D5 comes with 235 horsepower and in addition to that, it has something called PowerPulse which reduces turbo lag and makes power delivery smoother. Both of the engines come with four-wheel drive. There is also an off-road mode and hill descent control.

Volvo claims that the model with 250 horsepower needs 7.5 seconds from 0-62mph and has a 140mph top speed. Volvo V90 Cross Country is also equipped with one of the best interiors an executive car can have. Mercedes might have fancier screens, and Audi more cool design elements, but Volvo has found a compromise of both. Both models come with comfort seats that have Pearl stitching. Both have a smartphone-style Sensus controller and a central screen.
The 190 horsepower model starts at £39,785, and the 235 horsepower model starts at £43,585.

The Drive had a chance to test the new Volvo V90 Cross Country on the ice. The car performed exceptionally well, all thanks to higher-profile tire sidewalls, softer tire compound, retuned dampers, springs and anti-roll bars, and a little more wheel travel. But Volvo V90 Cross Country also has a few flaws. The steering is a little heavy. It calls attention even when trying to change lanes or ease into a curve.

On a more positive note, V90 Cross Country has a pretty big storage space. Not only it can carry a lot more total volume, but it can also manage taller and bulkier items that can’t fit through a wagon’s small hatch opening.
