The mirrorless digital camera Fujifilm GFX 50S features the Fujifilm G-Format 43.8 x 32.9mm sensor with 51.4 megapixels and six lenses that will be introduced under the new FUJINON GF Lens series of interchangeable lenses.

Pocket Lint reported that the Fujifilm GFX 50S is equipped with a huge 43.8 x 32.9mm medium format sensor which is 1.7x larger than a full-frame DSLR camera sensor. The camera will offer extensive sensitivity from ISO 100 to 12,800. It has 3.2inch 2.69m-dot LCD touchscreen that is capable of positioning at various angles. There is a 3.69m-dot electronic viewfinder although you’ll need to pay extra for the various angle adapter to manipulate its position. On the top, there is also 1.28-inch for displaying all the settings. The camera is 825g with the battery included.

With the viewfinder added, the weight goes up to 920g, which is lighter than many pro-spec DSLR cameras. The GFX 50S uses a focal plane shutter and an 117-point contrast-detection autofocus system. Adjusting the focus can be done with a focus lever that is positioned at the back of the camera. There will also be an option grip accessory that adds longevity and additional camera controls and an attachment where the electronic viewfinder will be able to pivot and swivel to the sides like the rear LCD. There are also plans to release a large video monitor accessory.

According to British Journal Photography, the price of the new GFX 50S is expected to be £6,199 without any lenses. The GF 63mm f/2.8 R WR lens will cost £1,399, GF 120mm f/4 R LM OIS WR will cost £2,599, and the GF 32-64mm f/4 R LM WR will cost £2,199. The new lens series are capable of supporting a sensor with 100 megapixels. Fujifilm GFX 50S is expected to be a truly amazing camera when it releases on 23rd of February.
