The Super Bowl trailer of 'The Fate of the Furious' dropped Sunday afternoon on CBS. It appears that the rules of the game have now changed.

The eighth installment in the "Fast and Furious" franchise finds Vin Diesel (Dominic Toretto) and Michelle Rodriguez (Letty) on their honeymoon. The rest of the crew has already been exonerated and tries to live normal lives. However, there is a mysterious new villain played by Charlize Theron (allegedly named Cipher).

The new trailer starts with Diesel and Theron who seem to be on some kind of heist. A bomb is thrown at Dwayne Johnson (Luke Hobbs) who said in a voice over that "Dominic Toretto just went rogue."

Rodriguez, who is dramatically on the floor, then asks Dom, "You're going to turn your back on family?" Theron then kisses Dom and there is a scene of him walking away.

The Super Bowl trailer reveals that there are a lot of guns and heavy firepower in the movie. There is even a scene where a modern Gatling machine gun opens fire upon a bunch of cars in traffic in what looks to be New York City.

As expected, there will also be a lot of new and interesting cars in the F8 movie. The Super Bowl trailer went too fast to see any car distinctly it was previously reported by Road and Track that there will be Rally Fighters, Lamborghinis, and Imprezas.

The Rock and Vin Diesel will go head to head in this movie. Johnson's character even verbally issues a challenge "I'm taking you down Toretto!"

In order to do so, he ends up reluctantly teaming up with Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw). Kurt Russell (Mr. Nobody) tells the two of them that they need to work together. In the previous installment, Statham was the main antagonist who tried to avenge his brother Owen Shaw.

There are also a lot of explosions and fight scenes in the F8 movie. A lot of high-speed car chases also take place. There is even a scene in the arctic with a tank.

The "Fate of the Furious" will officially hit theaters on April 14, 2017. In the meantime, the Super Bowl trailer is found below.
