T-Mobile To Release Apple Products In 2013, iPhone 5, iPad Devices Included

T-Mobile has announced that they will be carrying Apple products in early 2013 such as the iPhone 5 nearly five years after the first iPhone was released. The news was first reported on Dec. 6 by NBC News.

"T-Mobile has entered into an agreement with Apple to bring products to market together next year," said and Apple spokesman to NBC News. "Additional details will be made available at a later date."

Deutsche Telekom AG released the news in a press release where the company discussed future investments they would be making.

Apple has previously made deals with AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon meaning T-Mobile would be the last cellphone provider to release the iPhone 5. The company will be releasing a new 4G LTE network soon as well.

Three different versions of the phone will most likely be sold, including the 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB options, equipped with such features like an HD camera, built-in Li-ion battery and thousands of different apps. The company hasn't said how much they will be charging for the phone, but the device is usually sold for around $200 at other cellphone providers like Verizon.

Over one million unlocked iPhone devices are on T-Mobile's network already according to the NBC report released earlier this week.

The company has decided not to reveal with products will be released through T-Mobile as of yet, but it has been confirmed they will be releasing at least one version of the iPad. Moibletor.com said that T-Mobile will probably wind up selling the iPad 4 and may sell the iPad Mini.

"We've become an incredible sales machine of the other very competitive devices," said John Legere, T-Mobile president and CEO to NBC News. What was missing? It's very clear. A certain number of customers wouldn't come to the store if we didn't have the iPhone."
