The next time you want to buy some fruits, you may soon add to your cart a car financing application form as well. Beginning on April 1, buying cars will be as easy as buying stuff in your favorite hypermarket. The multinational retail store Walmart has reportedly joined the ride of auto dealership too.

Walmart has made a partnership with car dealers to begin selling cars on April 1. It is no fool's game on April 1 as Walmart has indeed set to launch its newest program dubbed as the CarSaver program which enables interested buyers to purchase any of their desired vehicles at any branch from its 25 Supercenters.

The CarSaver program allows buyers to apply for the insurance and financing of the vehicle they plan to buy. Buyers can either purchase a brand new or used vehicle through the said program. After the initial stage of selecting a vehicle, CarSaver will then link the client to the designated car dealer nearby for the completion of the vehicle purchase.

The major dealership partner of Walmart is the AutoNation, which is the largest retailer of brand new vehicles in the U.S. Whereas, the Ally Financial will serve as the choice lender for the CarSaver program.

Those who want to avail of the CarSaver program can head to any of the Walmart Supercenters in Phoenix, Dallas, Oklahoma and Dallas City. Buyers may also opt to avoid traffic in going to the Supercenters by processing online or calling via the store's 800 hotline for the initial stage. Eventually, as the program gains its target success, Walmart will expand its CarSaver program in all its Supercenters nationwide, Motortrend reported.

In another report, Chron has noted that there have been 16 AutoNation outlets in Phoenix, Dallas and Houston which have confirmed to participate in the CarSaver program. Apparently, this system had its initial testing in Florida last year which reports 80 percent successfully closed deals.

Do you think it was a great idea for this large retail store to begin selling cars too? Would you buy a car at Walmart or not?
