Buick Enclave Sees Best November Sales Ever, High Demand For 2013 Model (SEE SLIDESHOW)

The demand for the 2013 Enclave luxury crossover was a big reason the company experienced the best November sales month for the Enclave series ever. Retail sales are up 18 percent year-over-year according to a press release issued by the company this week.

"Our first three new Enclaves were sold before they arrived, and all to current Enclave owners," said Bart Rinkenberger, general manager of Lighthouse Buick in Morton, Ill. "They tell us they love the quality and attention to detail, which has only gotten better for 2013."

November sales in total were the best since 2006 and currently the company is on track for their best sales year in over six years. Sales for Enclave models specifically were up 23 percent compared to this time last year.

Earlier this month the 2013 model was named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Every Buick model released this year has been named a Top Safety Pick including the LaCrosse luxury sedan, and the Verano luxury sedan.

"There's no doubt the Enclave changed the type of customers we see," he said. "They're young families who wouldn't have considered other Buicks at the time. Now, they're staying with us. We just had an Enclave owner buy a Regal GS and I know the first sale led to the second."
