Fujifilm Launches Its Retro Digital Line-up For 2017 With GFX 50S And Upgrades For It’s Camera Models

Fujifilm's' GFX 50S will make every photographers, hobbyist, and enthusiasts excited with its features and specifications. This year will definitely be not only for high-tech gadgets, gaming consoles, and computers but also a great year to start buying a new camera.

Starting Fujifilm's digital line-up is the GFX 50S. As mentioned by PCmag, this new camera has entirely new and innovative specifications. It has a custom 51.4mp medium format sensor with a size of 33x44 mm. This type of sensor is said to be advantageous for the overall quality of the image and field control depth.

The body of the GFX 50S is tightly sealed to protect it from moisture and dust and has 3.2 inches, 2-axis hinged LCD. Other features include emulation modes for its film, Wifi for easy image transfer, remote control, USB 3.0 port and n option for the full electronic shutter mode.

GFX 50S is said to be released by February of this year with a price of $6,499.95. However, this is going to be for the body only. Users can choose from 3 lenses that will also be launched this year: GF 63mm F2.8 R WR at $1,499.95; GF 32-64 mm F4 R LM WR for $2,299.95 and the GF 120mm F4 R LM OIS WR Macro at $2, 699.96.       

According to Techcrunch, Fujifilm will also update some of their famous cameras as well which is the X100F, the newest from the X100 series and another new model the X-T20. All of these new camera offerings are also set to be launched this year.

For used of the X100 series, this new X100F will provide a new upgrade for them. It already has Wifi capabilities with 24.3-megapixel sensors and supports UHS-1 SD cards. It is said to be available by the middle of February with a price of $1,299. It is available in silver and black colors. On the other hand, the new X-T20 brings more technical features with a compact body, video capability of 4k and 23.4 megapixels APS-C sensor. It is more budget-friendly priced at $899.
