"People increasingly have more than one device, and they switch between them many times a day. Nexus, Google's hardware line for Android devices, gets rid of the hassle," said Andy Rubin, Google's Senior Vice President of Android in a blog post. "Just sign in with your Google Account and everything is there ready to go, whatever device you're using: photos, emails, contacts, bookmarks, even your entertainment on Google Play."

The company has already advertised the device to an ideal source for eBooks, has over 675,000 different apps and games, and no wires needed to sync the media options that can be stored on the device like music and movies.

The Nexus 7 can also hold over nine hours of HD video playback, withstand 10 hours of web browsing and up to 300 hours of standby time according to Google.
