The company has also announced that they will have some Camaro and Corvettes at the event as well but they have yet to discuss any details about the two vehicles.

"At Chevrolet, performance comes in many different forms that appeal to many different customers - and that's exactly what we demonstrate at the SEMA Show," said Chris Perry, vice president of Chevrolet marketing in the press release. "We play close attention to the reaction our concepts receive, because the feedback helps determine the viability for producing new accessories and even special-edition production vehicles."

The 2013 Malibu Turbo has a 2.0L turbocharged engine which generates 259 horse power. The vehicle can reach up to 155 mph and get from 0 to 60 in 6.3 seconds according to the press release. It is being hyped as the fastest Malibu ever produced by Chevy.

For the new 2014 Impala, the car was completely redesigned to jump start the new direction the company wants to take the vehicle. The car will come with three different engine options: 2.4 L., 4-cylinder, a 2.5L., 4-Cylinder and a 3.6L., 6 cylinder. All three options are 6-speed automatic vehicles.

The car goes on sale early next year sometime.

"Chevrolet Performance is the direct line from the factory for performance and personalization parts and the SEMA Show gives us the chance to show everything our engineers have been working on," said Jim Campbell, GM U.S. vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports in the press release. "From Sonic to Cruze, to Camaro, Corvette and Silverado, we offer more parts and accessories than anyone in the aftermarket."
