Daniel Radcliffe and his girlfriend Rosie Coker have reportedly broken up after dating since 2011.
The couple who met originally on the set of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Price", had been dating for two years before the sudden break up was announced today. Coker was a production assistant on the set of the movie which starred Radcliffe in 2007, but it took four years for the two of them to finally hook up.
In 2011 interview with Parade magazine, the Harry Potter star was asked about his love life and how he and his girlfriend were doing together.
When asked if he loved Coker during the interview, Radcliffe described the key component to the relationship is her being able to deal with the things he hates about himself.
"When Rosie's here, every day seems better," said Radcliffe in the interview. "I'm not an easy person to love. There are lots of times when I'm a very good boyfriend, but there are times when I'm useless. She loves me for my oddness, my awkwardness, all of those things that I hate about myself. She finds them cute. I guess that's love."
Radcliffe and Coker were living in a $4.3 million apartment together in New York City's West Village.
The cause of the breakup is not currently known.
There are rumors that Radcliffe cheated on Coker with actress Erin Darke. Darke is co-starring with Radcliffe in an upcoming movie called "Kill Your Darlings."
"She's trying to move on," Coker's father told The Daily Mail. "She won't want to talk about it."
Representative for Radcliffe declined to comment on split, stating they don't discuss his personal life according to E! News.
Radcliffe has a relatively brief dating history which includes Olive Uniacke whose stepfather was a producer for the Harry Potter films. He has also dated Irish actress Laura O'Toole who starred with him in the Broadway play "Equus".
