Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Update Now Available; Check Out The Details Here

Developed by Infinity Ward in 2007, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered December Update is now live on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The free update is said to be around 27GB on Xbox One, 8.7GB on PS4, and only 7.3GB on PC. Size varies by region.

According to Charlie INTEL, the Modern Warfare Remastered update brings six additional Call of Duty 4 maps and Winter Crash, together with two new game modes for the first time: Gun Game and Hardpoint. The six maps include: Bloc, Showdown, Pipeline, Countdown, Wet Work, and Strike. Winter Crash is live, and starting December 20, there will be a Winter Crash 24/7 playlist for the holidays.

The following are the features for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Update: added character selection options, added choices for character combat uniforms, added weapon reticle variations, added cosmetic weapon kits, added melee weapons, depot - Display Collections, and a New Supply Drop System.

The new multiplayer maps include: Bloc, Countdown, Pipeline, Showdown, Strike, Wet Work, and Winter Crash. The updated user interface has "Alive Counter" added Search and Destroy, allows Weapon Ping during a UAV in Hardcore, and now, removed false XP modifier UI from Private Match and LAN.

Other updates have also been installed: Smoke Grenade VFX draw distance is increased, weapon flinch and kick and melee attack traces are now adjusted to match Call of Duty 4, and USMC Sniper character model is changed to more closely match Call of Duty 4, together with several modifications to bots and bug fixes.

According to Daily Star, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered update should launch any minute now, but Raven Software has not made any announcement on the specific release time for the update. "'Tis the Season for Maps, Modes, and More," the news in Activision states, so grab a controller and experience all the new content.
