Discontinued Cars May Be The Answer For Struggling Families

Every year people anticipate the arrival of new cars, knowing that it's just a matter of which company will be releasing some and which won't. Commercials get released and advertisements make their way around the world to announce the arrival of the new car to try and get everyone excited.

The thing people don't often consider though is that with each year that introduces new models, old ones die out. 2013 will be no exception to this pattern.

By this time next year, car buyers and enthusiast alike will no longer be able to purchase models such as the Hyundai Veracruz, the Mitsubishi Galant and Chevrolet Avalanche.

So what do most companies do to try getting rid of models they'll no longer be selling the following year? They sell them at a discounted price. Making even a minimal profit off of anything that didn't sell as planed such as a vehicle is always better than nothing.

Sales for the Hyundai Veracruz are disappointing because it means it will be cut to make room for the new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe series. $2,000 cash back is being offered for the car which was introduced in 2007, and just a $299 a month lease for 36 months.

The poorly selling midsize Galant is only available with a single four-cylinder powertrain can be purchased from Mitsubishi for as low as $19,100 after the discount is put into effect. Mitsubishi is offering $3,500 cash back for the vehicle as well.

The Infiniti G25 series is also being discontinued and can be bought for $289 a month lease for 24 months. Other models in the G series will continue however. The entire Maybach series is being discontinued at the end of the year, which includes the Landaulet, 57, and 62 models. This series is ususally pretty pricey, but yet again they will be more affordable once discontinued.

None of those names really jump off the page, but when you factor in the cars will be sold at a discounted price, the cars may look more appealing to people. If you are in desperate need of a car, you should be able to find one of these for a decent price.
